My personal goal as a piano teacher is to impart on my students a true appreciation of music and to give them tools to make music, not to simply "play notes." My responsibility is to provide an atmosphere for learning as well as a well-balanced music education, which is flexible, varied, and individually tailored to each student.

 

I have been teaching private piano lessons since 1990. I received my B.A. in Music from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and my M.A. in Music Studies from the University of New Hampshire. I also taught a basic music theory class for undergraduates at UNH for three years.

I hold membership in many professional organizations and continue to study music as well as attending many lectures and workshops.
